Type your child's name and, if you like, the reason they made Santa's Nice List. The certificate updates as you type. Download it as a PDF or print it straight away. It has a wax-seal style "Nice List" stamp, Santa's signature and the signature of Twinkle, the Head Elf of the Nice List Department.
What to write as the Nice List reason
A specific reason means far more than "for being good". Pick one real thing from this year:
- for being a kind big sister to Leo
- for learning to swim across the whole pool
- for standing up for a new kid at recess
- for practicing piano almost every day
Keep it to one short line so it fits the certificate. If you write a letter from Santa first, Santa suggests a reason based on what you told him.
Ways to give a Nice List certificate
- With a letter from Santa in the same envelope, on Christmas Eve or in the stocking.
- On the fridge in early December, so it lasts the whole season.
- For a class or a team: print one per child with each name and one true reason.
- For a child who had a hard year: a certificate that names one brave or kind thing can mean a lot.
Is there a naughty list certificate?
We only make a Nice List certificate. It works best when it celebrates one real thing your child did, so that's what the reason line is for. If your child is working on something, you can mention it kindly in a letter from Santa instead, for example: "I know you're trying, and I believe in you."
Nice List certificate printing tips
Print in landscape at 100% on US Letter or A4. Card stock or thick paper makes it feel official to a child, and a small gold sticker over the seal is a nice touch. For the full set, the optional North Pole Pack adds two more designs, a matching envelope and more letters.
